# LANGUAGE COMPETENCIES AUDIT FOR RECRUITED CANDIDATES

A multinational IT industry company was looking for employees all over the world and commissioned us to conduct audits to assess the language competencies of potential employees. Our tasks included developing an audit system for a variety of languages and evaluating the language proficiency levels of newly-recruited personnel. Worldwide School auditors, in daily contact with different regions in Poland and around the globe, conducted telephone conversations to assess the language proficiency level of individual employees selected by the Client.

After each interview, Worldwide School auditors prepared reports which were passed on to the client's HR department by our coordinators. Worldwide School was able to ensure high quality of the conducted language competence audits both in merit, as well as with regard to effective logistical and organizational service.
# CORRECTIVE ACTION IN TRAINING PROJECT TAKEOVER

An international IT company, located in 5 cities around Poland had been using the services of local language schools for a number of years. The company's training needs reflected its scope of activities and focused mainly on language training in English, German, French, Russian and Spanish.

The company turned to Worldwide School feeling disappointed with the lack of flexibility and staff shortages among local providers. It turned out that, apart from problems with comprehensive methodological standards and progress reporting, these companies were unable to adapt to rapidly developing business and new challenges.

The tasks faced by Worldwide School included the following:
  • a nationwide recruitment drive to eliminate teaching staff shortages,
  • establishing virtual classrooms for teleworking individuals.

Worldwide School successfully met these challenges while implementing a uniform standard of teaching and reporting across all the locations and, thereby, expanded its training portfolio by yet another satisfied Client. The solutions adopted by Worldwide School may also be applicable in similar or other training contexts.
